DOG DAYS OF SUMMER


Mia came to visit this past summer. She and Sally really got to spend some quality time together. We happen to sneak pictures of a Friday night!!!!!

There.....double knots. That will keep Sally from stepping on them....she's always under my feet....so clumsy that farm dog!




"Oh sally! Are you ready? Tonight is the big night at the HOUND LOUNGE. The swim suit contest starts at 9. We need to look our best for the studs.....come on Sal.....we need to go for our run!"

Sally dressed in her favorite red shirt....like Mia's. She then said good-bye to her other friends who were over for a swim.

Off they went.....for a long run.


Mia returned way before Sal.....and upon her return showered and got dressed for their night on the town!

"What do you think Sal? Nice huh??? I think I look good in a 2 piece......what do you think????"



"Come on Sally.....you have got to get those sweaty clothes off and get ready to go out!"

" Let me help you, those shorts are a little tough to get off Sal....you really should evaluate your diet!"

"You should see my new shoes Sal. Got them on sale today....they are perfect for the swim suit event....let me show them to you....I'll be right back.....get ready girlfriend!!!

SALLY DIDN'T MOVE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Then Mia returned......"Hey you....you are still laying here.....come on BIG SAL.....we got places to go."

"Check out my flops Sally.....aren't they PHAT??"

Mia proceeds to help Sally get ready for the evening.....

"Barbie.....can you help me?? I can't get Sally to move!"

"WOW....Sally. You look terrific!" I knew you could do it. Now lets get going before those 2 sassy canines take our seats next to the studs we met at the kennel!"

SALLY AND MIA HAD THE BEST TIME THIS SUMMER. I MISS BEING WITH THE 2 OF THEM!!!

I LOVED THE RECENT POST FROM MARCIA AND BILL. THE POOL LOOKS SO REFRESHING. AND THE PICTURE OF MOM IS CRACKIN ME UP. CANT BELIEVE YOU CAUGHT THAT. SHE IS SOOOO HARDY!!!! GOOD WORK!!!! I tried to comment but couldn't find the tab???


BEACH BUMS


We recently went to the shore. Ted was pretty routine about his day. We got up early and rode our bikes for 3-4 hours. Ted managed to "spruce up" this ole fold up bike and squeeze it into the car. he was so proud....it hardly took up any space. Good ole Ted....Mr. Vintage himself.

I must admit....it rode pretty nice.


THEN...about noon he gathered his stuff and set off to fish.

MOTHER'S DAY 2007

I have certainly been deficient when it comes to blogging!!!! I would get so much more done if I would just keep IT simple!!!!!!!!!! Let me try to share some of my recent favorites (or archives).....remember the Mothers Day pics I promised???????????

MOM ALWAYS SAT NEXT TO NANA WHEN THE TWO OF THEM WERE TOGETHER.

Nana died on Mom's Birthday. She was 99 and 223 days old. (approx). She loved life in it's simplest form. She grew up on a farm. Walked to school for more than a few miles (Jane and Ted didn't recall the distance). AND....yes....IT WAS UPHILL!!!!!! She took care of herself up to a few weeks before her death. She made a request regarding her personal items....."Please don't give my clothes to the people here at the home. (she lived at the Williamsport Home Apartments) I really dread the thought that a bunch of ole ladies will be walking around with my clothes on!" She was a dignified lady. AND she really loved mom!!!!!! (guess who is inheriting her clothes!!!)

SPRING HAS ARRIVED

She always helps me garden. Gotta watch her though.....if it ain't pretty...........yank!!!!!

As you can see , Connie has been very busy here in Richboro. She has been to Jakes game in Quarryville, attended a fifthtieth birthday party, gone to the Mann to see the Vontrapp Family Singers and a wonderful Fireworks display, and now we have plans to go shopping in Flemington for whatever.
